We invite you to take a tour of the Kids Saving the Rainforest Wildlife Sanctuary and see in person the dedication and love it takes to help save these rainforest animals—over 130 animals every year!

KIDS SAVING THE RAINFOREST (KSTR) specializes in the rescue and release of wild rainforest animals. There are many amazing and unique success stories to hear firsthand from our animal caretaker. In addition to helping injured and abandoned animals regain their health and return to the wild there are many animals which cannot be released, and KSTR offers safe sanctuary to them.  Our unreleasable guests are given an environment in which they can thrive and enjoy life, along with great nourishment and care.  As you can imagine, this takes a good deal of time and money to run a wildlife rescue center and sanctuary primarily funded from donations, volunteer stays and tours.

Meet our precious Monkeys up close—the endangered Titi Squirrel, Whiteface Capuchin, Spiders, Marmosets, and Tamarins!

Other  rainforest animals like a kinkajou, a porcupine, several species of parrots and more will also be seen on the tour!

-One of our Animal Caretakers will take you through the Wildlife Sanctuary so you can see and learn about wildlife animals.

pelotahanging2-Our Vet Tech will personally introduce you to a 2 toed or 3-toed sloth or another recently rescued animal being rehabilitated  for release in our Rescue Center Clinic. You will have a close, clear view through our clinic window and appreciate the care given to these animals.

-Experience the largest enclosed cage in Central America and see animals all around you!

-A light snack will be served after the 2-hour tour!

The best deal for any tour in the area— suggested minimum donation of $40 for adults and $25 for children under 18!
