Victor – House Manager

Victor has worked in the tourism business since 1990. He started right here in Manuel Antonio at the Hotel Mariposa as a bartender and waiter. From there, he worked at Hotel Parador as the front desk manager, and at Sansa Quepos, Costa Verde and Makanda by the Sea, in different departments – reservations, accounting department and administration.

Since then, Victor has worked the last 8 years in home administration, concierge and guest services, making sure that guests receive the highest level of service during their stay.

He has a vast knowledge of the Manuel Antonio area, restaurants, activities and places to visit. He can even tell you all about the local plants and wildlife that make Costa Rica unique and beautiful.

He speaks Spanish, English, and basic French and Italian.

Didier  – Chef

Didier comes back to Villa Tortuga after a year away, and we are thrilled to have him return. Didier is a classically trained chef from the Culinary School of Costa Rica! He also studied under a Michelin Star Chef in the south of France. He has worked in many luxury vacation villas, Michelin Star Restaurants, and even private yachts! He speaks Spanish, English, French and basic Portuguese.

Hisolda – Housekeeper

We LOVE Hisolda 🙂 She is incredibly kind and just a delight to have around the house. Hisolda speaks Spanish and some English!
